An outpatient mental health clinic is seeking a part-time Psychiatric NP for hybrid coverage treating children & adolescent patients.

About the clinician's workday

The practice is open to telepsych services, but requires that youth come in for in-person visits as needed. All documentation is maintained through an electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically using the Accumedic platform. Initial evaluations, which typically last about one hour, are uploaded to the electronic health record (EHR) within 24 hours. Follow-up appointments and medication checks, generally ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, are also documented in the EHR within the same timeframe. The typical patient demographic includes youth aged 5 to 21. Additionally, there is one part-time psychiatric nurse practitioner and another part-time psychiatrist on staff.
