CRISIS CENTER - CLINICAL ROTATION
The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) provides oversight of mental health and substance use disorder issues for the citizens of Wayne County and the City of Detroit. We are committed to the 123,000 children and adults served. Our Network supports and serves individuals with serious mental illness, children with serious emotional disturbance, people with autism, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those with substance use disorders.
DWIHN is opening the first state certified Crisis Center for the clients we serve. As part of this new endeavor, DWIHN will be offering Clinical Rotations to eligible candidates.
DWIHN recognizes that clinical rotations are an integral part of medical education, as it allows students to apply classroom knowledge to clinical practice. Clinical rotations allow students to develop important clinical skills and to practice them in a safe and controlled environment. This provide medical students with the opportunities to encounter variables and nuances not covered by classroom material.
DWIHN is offering clinical rotations for the following disciplines:
Psychiatry Resident
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow
Physician Assistant
Nurse Practitioner
Social Worker
