NP/PA- Critical Care Pediatrics - in Dallas, TX - Locum
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant for shift coverage in Dallas, Texas.

Specialty: PICU AP/PA

Coverage Dates Needed:
August/September 2024 - 13 weeks with option to extend

Schedule: 24hr shift coverage 7a-7a; 6.6 shifts/month
Call: none

Requirements:
Valid Texas License
Clean Background
Acute Care Certification required OR Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
One year of pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in PICU, ICU, or ER preferred.

Facility/Job:
Types of patients: Asthmatics, DKA, Ingestions, and chronic ventilations
Credentialing Timeframe: emergency temps given
The unit consists of 6-8 beds. Candidates need to be comfortable with working autonomously. The unit will consist of 1 APP and 1 physician. Interested candidates will need a minimum of 1 year relative PICU experience.
