The credentialing timeframe for this position requires a physical exam, which can be completed onsite if necessary, as well as three reference letters, taking approximately 2 to 3 weeks. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday from either 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, amounting to a 40-hour workweek, though one hour must be taken as an unpaid lunch, resulting in 35 working hours. While the facility prefers a full-time schedule, they are open to candidates who can commit to three days a week. The call schedule involves minimal on-call responsibilities, with one other pediatrician and two physician assistants rotating every other month, covering 24 hours at a time. Required certifications include a New York license, DEA, BLS, and board certification or eligibility, along with an infectious control certification.
