Pediatric APP Needed in PA

Location: Philadelphia

Start: January

13-week with the option to extend

Nurse Practitioner – Inpatient Unit

Full-time, 4 days a week 10-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend

NP for our Pediatric Inpatient Unit caring for patients with spine, orthopedic, cleft lip and palate, and spinal cord injury

Shift times and or dates if you, have it? Four ten hours shifts per week. There is no set schedule. Every 3rd weekend. We utilize 2 NPs Monday through Friday, 7a-530p, and 1 on weekends and holidays. Scheduled month to month.

License/Experience: Need experience, and PA can be long in obtaining so not ideal
*Open to licensing, but highly preferred to have candidates that are already licensed.

DEA required yes

Which Life support certs required? BLS and PALS

Patient/caseload info? Patients per day? Population above. Census varies. If two NPs can be approximately anywhere from 4-10 patients and full caseload on weekends and holidays

EMR system? Cerner and EPIC. Full EPIC training and transition by 4/5/25.

Physician Assistant

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm (8hrs)

Provider will be doing PreOp screens to make sure the patient is cleared for surgery.

They will be covering 3 OR's and there are typically 5-10 surgeries per day.
