Hospitalist Needed in West Virginia

Job description

Location: West Virginia town about an hour north of Charleston WV, and an hour south of Parkersburg with a good recreation area with boating, fishing, walking and bike trails, Facility: Hospital is a federally qualified health center, and as such provides medical care to every person without regard to ability to pay. Opportunity: Internal Medicine- Hospitalist *March 1, 2024- Ongoing *7 on 7 off *7AM-7PM *If unable to provide 7 days, would need a minimum of 4-5 shifts at a time *Specialty Coverages- Cardiology, General Surgery, PRN Pulm, Nephrology *Procedures Required- Intubation, Central lines for emergencies *Board Certified IM/FM or truly BE (w/in 5 yrs of residency)-REQUIRED *PROCEDURAL LOGS required from every Provider within the past 12 months reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents - REQUIRED *Active WV License- REQUIRED *COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED *BLS/ACLS - REQUIRED *Clean license/DEA and background, no malpractice - REQUIRED Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay plus malpractice
