Nocturnist NP/PA needed in San Antonio!

Job description

• 3 Month ongoing
• On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights – nights 7p-7a on site entire shift
• EMR training done by facility, shadow shift can be arranged if needed.
• Has to be a PA or Acute Care NP
• Between 100-700 beds depending on the site
• Depending on site, if at smaller hospital then 10 admits with cross cover of current inpatient census 70 patients (physician is taking home call to field admit calls and forwards to APP on site to see). Bigger hospitals major responsibility is cross cover floor/icu calls for inpatient census, and helping with 3-4 admits.
• Bigger hospitals – physician on site. Smaller hospitals, physician on call at home.
• Open ICU
• No procedures or vent management
