About the clinician's workday

We are looking for a candidate to work with Epic EMR, with shifts either from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. The typical hospital census is 35-40 patients, not including ALC patients in the psych unit, where the medical team conducts 10-12 consults. There are no procedures required for this position, as intubations and similar tasks are handled by ER or Critical Care providers, and PICC line or midline services are available before midnight. The ICU is an open setup with support from the Critical Care team. The code and rapid response team includes an ER physician, the House Supervisor, and other staff members, but we attend all codes since most patients are under the hospitalist's care.
