PA/NP - Primary Care - Lexington, NC - Locum

Job description

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a PA or NP for a Locum position in Lexington, NC to start as soon as possible. This is a temporary position.

Schedule:

M-F 8:00 - 4:30
Filling a temporary full time need for coverage

Provider Requirements:
Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
Must be able to meet Carolina SeniorCare's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
Current license in North Carolina.
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
Experience: A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly
population required.
Two years experience in a geriatric setting desirable.
Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.

Job/Facility Details:
Performs in-person comprehensive health histories and physical exams on patients
Integrates the primary care treatment plan into the overall plan of care developed by the interdisciplinary team
Evaluates and treats participants during acute illness
Following consultation with the Primary Care Physician, refers participants to medical specialist as indicated
