Job description

NP/PA needed at acute care clinic in Austin!
Targeting January 2024 start
May be able to get someone in by Dec. 4th as long as they're approved by 10/25/23
Will take PA or NP. All ages seen
Will average around 24 patients per day (3 per hour or so)
Spanish speak provider preferred
EMR is Epic. Previous experience a plus. Dragon dictation available
Most patients are Medicaid/Medicare
No new grads accepted. Must have at least 2-3 years experience
Prefer candidates that have FQHC experience
Clinic is open 7 days a week. 7a-8p
Provider will most likely be working 12-hour shifts
7a-7a or 8a-8p
Strongly prefer candidates who can work 3 12-hour shifts
No call
Must be willing to work at least 3 shifts per week to be considered.
Acute care services with some primary care. Think somewhere between primary care and urgent care
Cough, cold or sore throat, Fever or flu symptoms, vomiting, Ear infection, Cuts, bumps and sprains, Twisted or sprained ankle, General wound care, Minor skin rash, Mild asthma, Basic laboratory testing, Minor procedures to include toenail removal, Urinary tract infections
Travel and lodging can be provided
