What Will I Be Doing?
Pinnacle is in search of a full-time School Based Therapist to work with at-risk youth in Avery and Watauga County public schools. Therapist will meet with students individually in the school as well as coordinating care with school counselors, teachers, and parents/families.
Am I A Good Fit?
This position requires travel to public schools. Attendance at weekly team meetings will also be required. Employees receive extensive training and become certified in the Family Centered Treatment model. You must be willing to work and travel throughout the coverage area of Avery and Watauga County areas.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master's degree is required
Human Services degree preferred
1-year full time documented child mental health experience post human services Master's level required
NC Clinical License: LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LMFT/A, or pending required
Access to reliable transportation adhering to all NC Division of Motor Vehicle laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver’s license). required.
