About the clinician's workday
The coverage needed is from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with 6-12 shifts per month from December to March. Key highlights include hospital privileges, a 20-bed Emergency Department, and 60-70 patients seen daily. The emergency medicine provider team consists of 5 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers, offering 24-hour physician coverage. Telestroke support is available, and there is strong air and ground support for transferring patients to a level 1 trauma center. The system uses an integrated EMR (EPIC), and BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
