Work Details:
· Model: Model: 3 MDs + 13 CRNAs per day, Call: 1 MD + 2 CRNAs (Call is from Home)
· Amount of coverage needed per month: Weekly
· Department description: Can provide anesthesia safely/effectively and has experience with the following Surgical cases: General; Neurological (craniotomy, cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine); Cardiovascular (CABGs, Valves, CEA, TEVAR/EVAR, most CV cases are done at Heart Hospital; TEE experience is preferred); Thoracic (Placing double lumen ETTs, fiberoptic examination); Orthopedic-general (Joint replacement, scopes, fracture repair); Urology (Cystos, Nephrectomies, Prostatectomies); Bariatric; Surgical oncology; Burns; Gynecology (hysterectomies); ENT; Interventional radiology
· EMR: Epic
· Special procedures: Procedures for which provided should have experience and proficient: IV insertions, Arterial line, Central line, Swan Ganz PA catheters; Lumbar spinal drain (occasional); Blood patches (occasional); Regional blocks (common blocks performed include Adductor canal, Interscalene, Axillary, Pop/Saphenous blocks with Ultrasound guidance); Spinals; Education can be provided regarding procedures.
