Schedule Details: 3 x 12hr shifts per week, variable shifts, weekend and holidays required. Shift times are 6:30am-7pm, 6:30pm-7am. Weekend coverage - 3 weekends per 8 weeks (includes Friday, Saturday Sunday coverage
Work Details:
• Practice Setting: NICU
• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
- Support Staff: 4 Teams-every team has attending MDs Mon-Fri unless it's holiday 2 APPs or residents on each team. 5-6 APPs on each shift
-Procedures: Level IV NICU working with infants born as early as 22 weeks gestational age. The unit's multidisciplinary team specializes in treating a wide range of congenital and acquired health conditions, such as heart defects, respiratory distress, infections, and various other neonatal issues. Intubations, ambilocal line placement, PAL andPIC lines. NICU sees 700 patients annually. There are 15-26 patients per day depending on the number of providers on shift.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d: Board Certified Neonatology NP
• State License(s): NC-will consider those needing compact license
• Certifications: NRP, PALS, BCLS
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: minimum 2 years experience as a NNP
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
Willing To License?: yes, If compact eligible
Locum to Perm: Must be open to working locums a couple days to 1-2 weeks prior to perm.
• Sign on Bonus: $18,000 sign on for experienced NNPs
• CME Reimbursement: Receive up to $2,500 and 5 additional PTO days/year for Continuing Medical Education.
