Locums Pediatric Cardiac ICU APP Needed in San Francisco, CA

Job description

**Practice Overview**
- Support Team: Day: 1 attending, 3 NPs, 1 fellow (2 teams); Night: 1 attending, 2 NPs
-Monthly Shift Minimum: 4x 12-hour shifts
- Patient Volume: 17-18 per day
- High-volume heart failure population
- Common Cases: Pre- & post-op cardiac patients, Ventilator management, Cardiac catheterization, ECMO & transplant patients
- Procedures: APPs may place IVs & arterial lines, intubate, or place central lines

**Requirements**
- Certification: CPNP-AC (for NPs)
- Licensure: NPs must have a CA license; PAs can submit without a CA license
- Preferred Skills: Experience managing ECMO, CRRT, & cardiac bags. Heart failure experience a plus (not required)
