Hospitalist/Critical Care APP Needed in MD (Locals ONLY)

Job description

Location: Randallstown, MD

Start: As soon as credentialed

13-week assignment with the option to extend

· Support staff: 15 docs, 12 APPs in dept
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 12-16 shifts, (3-4 shifts per week)
· Shift: Nights, 7p-7a
· Patients per night: avg 6 admissions per night
· Patient population/age: >15
· EMR: Cerner
· ICU Open or Closed: Open
· Are there procedures? No
· Who is the backup for procedures? Surgery and Intensivists
· Skills required: Provide voluntary medical services to patients referred by primary care physicians and admitted through the ED and In-house physician coverage for medical/surgical/Critical Care

Practice Setting: Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC or BE
· State license required: MD required.
· DEA: yes
· CSR: CDS
· Certifications required: ACLS
· Minimum experience required: 1 year minimum

Credentialing Timeframe: Can take up to 90 days, but possibility for Emergency Priv (3-4 weeks)
