Cardiology Critical Care APP Locum Opportunity – Heart Transplant Unit in New Orleans, LA

Job description

**Opportunity Details**
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (days & nights, nights preferred)
- Patient Volume: 5-8 patients per shift
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: Nursing & Respiratory Therapy (RT)
- Cardiothoracic Surgeon & Intensivist support (formal daily rounds, phone availability overnight)

**Procedures & Job Duties**
- Required Skills: Arterial/Central Line insertion, Intubation, Chest Tube insertion
- Primary Responsibilities: Comprehensive ICU management of post-transplant & post-heart surgery patients
- First assisting is NOT required

**Requirements**
- Licensure: Active LA license or compact eNLC
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
