Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Government/Military)

Job description

Fulfil is partnering with the Military in multiple states that have openings for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage at military bases to exclusively perform physicals for the military reserve.

Location: Military base(s) in NE

About the Opportunity:

PAY RATE: $50 per hour (non-negotiable as it is a government contract)
-If needed past 5p you will be paid OT at $75 per hour
-Schedule: Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday)
-Schedule: 8a-5p Saturday-Sunday
-Weekend availability for at least 1-2 weekends per month (Saturday or Sunday)
-Provider will be doing physicals (Periodic Health Assessment (PHA)) and mental health assessments (do not need to be PMHNP to do them, just will be asking questions and training will be provided)
-PHA will take approximately 15 minutes per patient
No treatment or prescribing medications; there will be other providers/specialities to handle cases
-NO call
-State License is needed for the state where work will be performed
-Providers with multiple state licenses for any the listed states are welcomed and will be provided flights, travel, and lodging
-Board certification required
-ACLS and/OR BLS needed
-Must have a Clean File and background
-Provider must run NPDB Report themselves (Total cost: $3)
-Paid lodging
-Rental car provided
-NP or PA
-All Mid-Levels will require a supervising physician per state guidelines. Will provide the supervising physician if they currently don’t have one.
-Quick credentialing: ~30 days
