We are looking for a health informatics with minimum of one year in a previous health informatics role. * Computer language/coding proficiency (Python, Java, C, SQL, etc.) * Previous experience working with electronic health records. At Los Angeles General Medical Center, As part of our informatics team, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting software within our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure patient care runs smoothly. While this position doesn’t involve clinical care, it is patient-facing and requires interaction with patients and family members

Duties and Responsibilities :
* Design, test, and evaluate the efficiency of health data systems
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team to identify barriers to quality care
* Manage data security efforts to maintain patient privacy and patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
* Perform cost-benefit analysis to reduce expenses and optimize intervention efficacy
* Optimize EHR documentation efficiency and accuracy
* Plan and execute large-scale data management projects (Lead data analysis efforts to drive clinical change) (database creation, product development, etc.)
Compensation and Schedule
* Starting salary at $80,000, with adjustments made for relevant education and experience
* Full time / Part time
*No holiday, evening, or weekend requirements
* Bi-weekly or weekly pay periods
