Specialty: PA – Family Practice
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 Months with the option to extend.
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM | Friday – Sunday
Work Details:
Support Staff: 1 MD, 1 APP provider, 2 RNs, 2 LVNs – 24/7 coverage.
Coverage Needed: Full-time ongoing weekend night coverage needed.
Department Description: Basic urgent care and family medicine needs, providing health assessments for arrivals before they can be admitted. PA/NP accepted.
EMR: EPIC
Practice Setting:
Clinic: This is not a typical clinic or urgent care setting. We utilize different hotel conference rooms to screen and do health assessments for arrivals. Migrants are bused to these mini shelters and seen by RNs and APPs on staff to perform basic health assessments. Major medical issues are referred directly to the hospital.
Requirements:
License: CA
Certifications: BLS
Experience: New grads will be considered. Must be able to see all ages.
Credentialing Timeframe: Can be done in less than 1 week.
