Job description

A migrant shelter located in Southern California has an urgent requirement for Family Practice Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. If you are inclined to contribute to the betterment of the underprivileged population, this presents a significant opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community.

Location: El Centro, CA
Start Date: Sept 7, 2023 – July 2024
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 8p-8:30a for night shifts, rest TBD – 7 shifts per week, 1-2 APP providers per night
Schedule: September 7th orientation, 8-10, 15-17, 22-24, 29, 30, October 1 – variety of shift times for weekdays, can work 8’s, 10’s or 12’s.
Work Details: Support Staff: 1 MD, 1 APP, 2 RN, 2 LVN’s – 24/7 coverage
• Ongoing weekend coverage needed especially on weekend Night shifts but will need days as well.
• Basic Urgent Care /Family Medicine needs, providing health assessments for the arrivals before they can be admitted.
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Clinic
Credentialing Timeframe: New grads will be considered. Can be done in 1 week with a clean background.
