Primary care provider needed for full-time coverage with FCI Ashland

Job description

• Facility located in Ashland, KY
• BLS and at least one year of corrections experience preferred
• Roughly 6-8 week credentialing period
• SCOPE OF WORK
• Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications from facility formulary
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
• General sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage
• Provider must use facility EMR, training will be provided

• 6 month initial commitment with option to extend
• 3days/wk, 8hr days
• Any state license accepted
