Locums Ongoing Family Practice NP Opportunity in Puyallup, WA

Job description

- Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician
- Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients
- They will consider providers for a minimum of 3 days/week if they are local and do not require housing. They maybe caring for same day walk in patients.
- EMR: EPIC
- Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks

• M-F, 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
• Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations
• Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care
