Location: El Monte, California. About 20 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles. Facility: Clinic, Affiliated with one of the nation's largest community healthcare organizations which serves the Los Angeles/Orange County areas. Initially established as a free clinic in East Los Angeles in 1969, it has now grown to 35 accredited sites that offer a variety of services to patients of all ages in Los Angeles and Orange counties Opportunity: Locums IM/FM Physician Needed for Coverage at El Monte Clinic * Start Date/Duration: ASAP; ongoing (3-6 months with likelihood to extend) * Shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm; Flexible to any amount of days within clinic operating hours * No weekends * 21-23 patients/day * EMR: Epic * Bilingual Spanish preferred (most of the patient population is Spanish speaking). Virtual translators available Requirements: * CA license * Board certified * CA DEA Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice
