An addiction medicine clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday

This addiction medicine clinic specializes in Suboxone and methadone treatment and operates MondayFriday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with part-time options available. There are no call or weekend requirements, and physicians can expect a case load of 2025 patients per day, primarily adults (18+) receiving addiction medicine care. The clinic uses ECW as its EMR system. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required, with a preference for those also certified in Addiction Medicine; however, providers with recent addiction medicine experience or newer graduates with relevant experience will be considered. The role is primarily solo but is supported by NPs, a Head Nurse, an Assistant Head Nurse, RNs, LPNs, and CMTs. Only MDs are accepted for this position. Credentialing typically takes 23 weeks but may extend up to 30 days, and a physical and drug test are required. COVID vaccination is mandatory.
