Massachusetts looking for a Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider

Job description

• An inpatient mental health and in/outpatient substance use treatment facility
• Avg patient length of stay is 7-14 days
• Schedule: 3pm-11pm Monday to Friday with rotating weekend coverage; FT -, no call
• Would prefer they saw all ages will consider candidate if they don't
• Has a geriatric ward
• Manage 10 -15 pts/day
• Scope:
o Expected to manage patients
o Conduct physicals, histories
o Medication management (some patients are have dual diagnosis (psychiatric and substance) and placing orders for patients withdrawing from alcohol or opioids
o discharge at provider's discretion
• Must be BC/BE
• Medicare
• EMR is CareView
