Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Waco, TX
We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our gastroenterology team full time in Waco, TX. We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable provider to care for our GI patients in our state-of-the-art clinic.
The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of medical theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care and the ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. We are seeking a provider who is experienced, can provide effective treatments, can communicate clearly, and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.

Duties:
• GI care services in an outpatient, clinical setting
• Assessing and managing GI conditions
• Perform physical exams, obtain complete medical history, and record findings
• Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures
• Interprets and integrates data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan
• Order/administer medication and injections as deemed medically necessary
• Instructs patient/family regarding medications and treatments
• Educates patients regarding health and illness prevention
